YaSiG Big Mouth

YaSiG Ltd employs two youth workers to run evening drop-in sessions at the Gainsborough Connexions (TeenSeen) Centre for 13 - 24 year olds. The sessions aim to allow young people to take part in a variety of interesting and exciting activities, educational workshops and trips.
Activities and workshops are specifically tailored towards varied age groups and are generally not gender specific.
A great deal of emphasis and energies are directed towards 16 - 24 year olds and the drop-in sessions provide a social meeting place and an advice and guidance point for future employment, training or education.
These sessions will be re-housed at the YaSiG Youth Coffee Bar once it is completed in June 2010.
Big Mouth members have a constituted committee and meet on a regular basis. These individuals are currently working together on a project to help develop the interior design of the planned YaSiG Youth Coffee Bar. The group also act as a voice for young people in Gainsborough and consulted regularly about a number of youth related matters.
