YaSiG (Young and Safe in Gainsborough) are a not-for-profit organisation that operates a diverse range of services and activities for young people aged 13 to 24 in the local and surrounding areas of Gainsborough.

YaSiG’s services include a highly successful alternative education programme accessed by some of Gainsborough and Lincolnshire’s most challenging and deprived young people. The primary aim is to encourage young people who may be experiencing difficulties in local schools, to re-engage in education and training; helping them to achieve their aspirations.

Other services include a sports initiative involving the delivery of a variety of sports activities and qualifications aimed at NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) young people.

YaSiG also provide a drop-in service that provides young people with a safe meeting place, offering engagement activities and free internet access with a view to supporting the young people to make positive life choices.
