Motor Ex

Motor Ex is designed for young people who enjoy practical activities away from the classroom environment.

Course Overview
This course has a variety of attractions including its very own track located at Blyton just outside of Gainsborough. YaSiG deliver the course in their new, recently designed and refurbished workshop.

Motor Ex concentrates on the more practical elements of learning for those who prefer the more 'hands-on' approach. The course enables young people to learn about motor bike maintenance, repair and safety with the opportunity to achieve a valuable Level 1 qualification.

The young people cover basic riding skills, including knowledge of track rules and health and safety regulations.

The course is delivered by an experienced instructor/mechanic who will provide structured sessions to each group.

Qualifications
Throughout the duration of the course each young person will work towards a level 1 qualification that includes 6 modules. The complete qualification is equivalent to five GCSE’s D-G.
